Hazleton news - Mr. Girton, father of our townsman, Joseph Girton, who resides at Coytown three miles east of this place, was found dead in his bed Thursday morning. He had been gradually failing for some time, but was not expected that his death would occur in so mysterious a manner. The funeral was held at the Coytown school house Saturday, at half past 1 o'clock, conducted by Rev. Ellingwood of Oelwein, and the remains laid to rest in the Scott Center cemetery.
