Sudden Death of Lester Strong

Young Farmer of Illyria Township Passes Away Sunday from Neuralgia of the Heart

Wadena, Aug. 16, The community was greatly shocked last evening (Sunday) when word came of the death of Lester C. Strong at his home in Illyria township, four miles north of Wadena. He had been sick only since Thursday and bedfast scarcely a day. His death occurred at 6 oclock last evening from neuralgia of the heart. He was one of our highly respected young farmers, being the son of C. W. Strong, a pioneer of this township. He was thirty-five years of age. He is survived by a widow and two children, his father, and two sisters. Mr. Strong was in the public eye less than a year ago as one of the jurors in the Whitebeck murder case. His funeral is to be held at 2 o'clock tomorrow (Tuesday) afternoon. The sorrowing relatives have the sympathy of their many friends.
