Died - Mrs. Martha Olmstead died at her home in Oelwein Tuesday, April 10, 1888. Funeral servics were held Wednesday forenoon at the Baptist church, conducted by Rev. B. F. Paul, and the remains interred in Otsego cemetery. Deceased was born in Orange county, New York. Her maiden name was Martha Weeden and she was married November 8th 1848. She was formerly a member of the Presbyterian church in New York, and never gave up her hope in Christ. She was highly esteemed and her death has cast a gloom upon the hearts of a large circle of relatives and friends. Much sympathy is extended to the bereaved family.
