At her home in this city Mrs. Fred Bennet passed from the cares of earth. Last Wednesday she became the mother of a pair of twins which only lived a short time. An operation had to be performed and she was not able to rally. Mrs. Louise Wilhelmina Bennet, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. W. Boger, of Independence, was born August 27, 1873, at Freeport, Illinois. In the year 1893 she was united in marriage with Mr. Fred Bennet. Four children were born, of whom one is living. The funeral took place at the Lutheran church Monday afternoon, Rev. Zeilinger officiating in German and English and the interment took place in the Otsego cemetery. She was cut off in her youth, her life's work unfinished and many mourn her going hence.
