Carrie Louise Green

Services were held Tuesday, Sept. 19 at 1:30 p.m. at Schutte Funeral Home in Postville, for Carrie Louise Green. Rev. David R. Nelson conducted the services. Carrie died September 15 at Palmer Memorial Hospital in West Union.

She was born April 23, 1914 in Postville and married Melvin Stray. They had one daughter, Frances. After Melvin's death, she later married the late Karl Green of Elgin. Two sons, Karl and John, were born to them.

Mrs. Green lived most of her life in the Clermont and Elgin area.

Survivors include two sons, Karl of Elgin and John of Oelwein; a daughter, Mrs. Richard (Frances) Pritchard, of Garber; and six grandchildren.

Burial was in the Postville Cemetery.
