Anna Lenora Baker was born in Fayette County Iowa on January 28, 1883, and died in Oelwein on November 16, 1917. She was married to Encoreg Trumbauer on October 19, 1901, two children were given her, a daughter Vera and a son, Roy.

Mrs. Trumbauer after much suffering was compelled to seek relief by an operation five years ago, she apparently recovered; but as time passed she was attacked by other illnesses; for some six weeks, she has suffered greatly, it was thought to take her to Iowa City, she did not respond to the treatment given there. She was brought home to Oelwein and lived but a few days.

Her aged parents, Mr. and Mrs. George Baker, a sister, Mrs. Amy Lincoln and her two children survive her.

On Sunday afternoon, November 18, after a prayer at the house, she was carried to Grace Methodist Episcopal Church, where the pastor, Dr. Frank P. Shaffer conducted the funeral services.

The church was filled with many friends and neighbors, testifying to the regard in which she was held by them. Many beautiful floral tributes were arranged about the casket, upon the conclusion of the services she was taken to the city cemetery and laid away to await the resurrection.
