Died - At her home a few miles northeast of Oelwein, last Thursday, October 4th, after an illness of about four months, Mrs. Sarah A., wife of Levi Bird, aged 62 years, 4 months and 14 days. Mrs. Bird was a devoted wife and mother, a kind friend and neighbor and who was loved and respected by all who knew her. She leaves a husband and seven children to mourn her loss, three children having gone before her. The funeral services were conducted by Rev. Beyer, of Hazleton, on Saturday last, and the remains were interred in the Otsego cemetery, followed by a large concourse of friends and neighbors.
