Wanda Geraldine Buhr, 75, of Waterloo, died Tuesday, Sept 30, 2003 at Covenant Medical Center of a stroke.

She was born December 15, 1927, in Arlington, daughter of Russell and Minerva Lockard Pierce. She married Albert Buhr on December 6, 1953, in Nashua. He died August 2001.

Mrs. Buhr was employed at Rath Packing Co. for 33 years, retiring in 1985. She also owned and operated Old Homestead Crafts for many years.

Survivors include three daughters, Shelia Temple and Debbie (Dirk) Webber, both of Waterloo and Sally (Lee) Booth of Loves Park, Illinois; six grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren; two sisters, Charlotte Hoffman of Waterloo and Dorothy McLavey of Tripoli.

Preceded in death by a son, Danny and three brothers, Raymond and Harold Pierce, and Darrell Pierce in infancy.

Memorial services 11 a.m. Friday at Calvary Bible Church, Washburn, with inurnment at 2 p.m. in Garden of Memories, Waterloo.
