RALPH TRIEM

Ralph Triem, son of Jessie (Dibble) and Clarence Triem was born January 6, 1896 in Chicago, Illinois and died at the Community Memorial Hospital, Postville, February 13, 1967, at the age of 71.

He spent his entire life in the Clermont community and was educated in the Clermont Public School. He was a painter.

On December 22, 1916, he was married to Matilda Conner. To them was born two sons: James and Harold.

He joined the Methodist Church by Confession of Faith, September 27, 1959.

He was preceded in death by his parents and two grandchildren, Georgia Rae and Kathleen.

He is survived by his wife, Matilda; two sons, James of Cedar Rapids and Harold of Postville; two grandchildren, Fayne Szabo and David Triem; two aunts and one uncle.

Funeral services were held Wednesday, February 15, at the Church of The Savior, Clermont, with the Rev. LeeRoy Collins, in charge. Burial was in God's Acre Cemetery.
