Mrs. Sarah Boyd passed away at nine o'clock this morning at Mercy Hospital after suffering for the past four weeks from pneumonia. She was 75 years of age.

Mrs. Boyd was a pioneer resident of this community and for eighteen years, at the time of the war, was employed as clerk in the stenographic department at the Chicago Great Western shops.

She is survived by one son, Kenneth Boyd of this city; two sister, Mrs. H. R. O'Neil* of Forest Grove, Oregon and Mrs. Henry Miguet of Hazleton and one brother, William Jarrett of Hazleton. Her husband preceded her in death forty years ago.

The body will lie in state at the Brant Funeral Home. Services will be held Saturday afternoon at two o'clock at the Brant Funeral Home with Rev. I. E. Wade officiating. Interment will be made at Hazleton.
