The remains of S. W. Ross, of Iowa Falls, who died Saturday, arrived in this city Sunday, and short services were held from the residence of his brother, E. N. Ross, yesterday forenoon, Rev. Toothacre officiating. Interment was in Oran cemetery. He was born in Ripley county, Indiana in 1843, and was nearly 60 years of age. For some years he resided between this city and Fairbank, and then in Clay county, later moving to Iowa Falls to educate his children of whom there were ten. He was a soldier in the Civil War and was an upright man in all his relations of life. In this vicinity reside his mother, Mrs. J. H. Ross and two brothers, E. N. Ross and J. R. Ross.
