Having been partially crippled since early childhood she missed many of the pleasures enjoyed by others but she was always so cheerful and happy in spite of
her handicap, that she never lacked for friends and attention. Her great capacity for appreciation was one of her outstanding qualities. Happiness was always so evident when any little thing was done for her that her friends delighted in doing for her. She was able to walk with a cane and had managed to keep her small apartment until the last.Funeral services were held at Corning, Iowa on Monday, November 30, at 2:00 o'clock by Rev. W. J. Todd, and the Hintz Funeral Home in Oelwein, on Tuesday, December 1 at 1:00 p. m. conducted by F. C. Witzigman, pastor Methodist church. Interment was made at Oran Cemetery.
