Funeral services for Erik E. Treloar, 18, of Hawkeye were held Sunday, Sept. 2, at Trinity Lutheran Church in Hawkeye. The Rev. William Horn officiated.

Casket bearers were Shawn Westpfahl, Ryan Treloar, Andy Van Sickle, Austin Westpfahl, Kurt Treloar and Dillon Knox.

Private family inurnment will be held at a later date in Hawkeye Cemetery, Hawkeye.

Becker-Milnes Funeral Home, Sumner, was in charge of arrangements.

Erik died suddenly on Wednesday, Aug. 29, 2007.

Erik Edward Treloar, son of Mark and Krista (Siegele) Treloar, was born Sept. 5, 1988, in West Union. He was baptized at Trinity Lutheran Church in Hawkeye. He attended North Fayette High School in West Union.

Erik was preceded in death by his great-grandparents Ed and Laura Treloar, Velmar and Alice Copp, John and Ella Siegele, and Charles and Martha Tomas; and an uncle.

He is survived by his parents, Mark and Angie Treloar of Hawkeye and Krista and Andrew Urban of Sun Prairie, Wis.; two brothers and three sisters, Brittany and Emily Treloar and Taylor, Ashley and Drew Urban.

Additional survivors include his paternal grandparents, Donald and Mary Treloar of Hawkeye; his maternal grandparents, Gerald and Doris Siegele of Oelwein; grandparents Ed and Betty Urban of Edwardsville, Ill., Howard and Connie Hughes of Hawkeye, and Merle and Cindy Rose of Fredericksburg; aunts, uncles, cousins, and other relatives.
