MRS. MARTIN (Nora Iverson) ANDERSON

Rites Held For Mrs. Anderson

Nora Everson Anderson, the daughter of Iver and Martha Iverson, was born February 23, 1888, in Clayton county, and died May 10, 1966, at Community Memorial Hospital in Postville at the age of 78 years, two months and 17 days.

She attended country school and was baptized and confirmed in the Clermont East Lutheran church, where she held membership until 1916. On June 7, 1911, she was united in marriage to Martin Anderson. Four children were born to them, one son, and three daughters. She was active in the A. L. C. W., a member of Priscilla and Mission societies, Ruth Circle, Women's Service club and Riverside club.

She was preceded in death by her parents; a sister, Tillie; a brother, Andrew; and an infant sister and brother.

Mrs. Anderson is survived by her husband, Martin; a son, Burnell of Postville; three daughters, Anna May (Mrs. Ralph Moen), Rock Island, Illinois; Eleanor (Mrs. Deane Shupp), Memphis, Tennessee; and Chrystol at home; a sister, Mrs. Emma Anderson; and a brother, Nels Iverson; 11 grandchildren and four great grandchildren and many relatives and friends.

Following services at West Clermont Lutheran church, Friday, May 13, with Rev. Roger Peterson officiating, burial was in Gods Acres Cemetery, Clermont.
