MRS. RALPH S. (Anna May Anderson) MOEN

Rites Held For Anna M. Moen

Anna May Moen, daughter of Martin and Nora Anderson, was born near Clermont, Iowa on May 29, 1915. She passed away at the Moline Lutheran Hospital in Moline, Illinois on July 18, 1966 at the age of 51 years. She had been ill only a few months.

She was baptized and confirmed at the West Clermont Lutheran Church. On January 7, 1943, she was married to Ralph S. Moen of Waukon at the West Clermont Lutheran Church. They moved to a farm south of Ossian and lived there until the fall of 1947 when they moved to Rock Island.

Mrs. Moen received her education in the Clermont schools and was a graduate of Clermont high school. She worked for several years in Clermont and West Union. She was preceded in death by an infant son, Roger, who passed away in December, 1945; and her mother, who passed away this year in May. She is survived by her husband, Ralph; three daughters, Linda, Emily and Joanne, all of Rock Island; her father, Martin Anderson of Clermont; a brother, Burnell Anderson of Postville; and two sisters, Eleanor (Mrs. Deane Schupp) of Memphis, Tennessee and Chrystol of Clermont.

Services for Mrs. Moen were held in the West Clermont Lutheran Church at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, July 21. The Rev. Roger Peterson officiated. Burial was in God's Acre cemetery, Clermont.
