MRS. CHRISTIAN J. (Rosina Mork) ANDERSON

Rites Held For Mrs. Anderson

Rosina Mork Anderson, daughter of Knute and Betsey Mork, was born on November 3, 1890. She passed away at her home in Clermont on December 2, 1963 at the age of 73 years and one month.

She was baptized and confirmed in the Marion Lutheran Church of which she had been a life long member.

On June 30, 1911 she was united in marriage to Christian J. Anderson. To this union were born nine children. She was preceded in death by her husband; infant sons, Ernest, Ruthferd and Myron; two grandchildren; her parents; two sisters, Alma and Ida; and one brother, Reuben.

She leaves to mourn her passing one daughter, Bessie (Mrs. Orvin Thompson) of Wadena; five sons, Kenneth and Dale of Postville, Elver of West Union, Carlyle of Cedar Rapids, and Arvid of Decorah; and daughters-in-laws Aldora of Iowa City and Edna, Virginia, Gaynal, Helen and Neva; 17 grandchildren; four sisters, Mrs. Sophia Anderson of Castalia, Klara (Mrs. Melvin Olson) of West Union, Mrs. Emma Imholte of Milwaukee, Mrs. Ruth Liddle of Waukon; four brothers, Enock of Clermont, Abel of West Union, Henry of Decorah, and Kenneth of Elgin; besides a host of relatives and friends.

Funeral services were held Friday afternoon at the Marion Lutheran Church with Rev. Landis Gross officiating. Burial was in the adjoining cemetery.
