SERVICES ARE HELD FOR JOHN POWERS

Memorial services were held Saturday afternoon at 2:00 o'clock at the Schutte Funeral Home for John Powers, 81, who passed away at his home on Wednesday evening. Christian Science services were conducted by Mrs. George B. Richter. Mrs. John Falb was soloist; accompanied by Mrs. Lloyd Palmer.

Interment will be made at Twin Falls, Idaho.

John Powers was born in Clermont township, Fayette County, on June 4, 1869, and spent almost all of his life in this locality.

On May 11, 1901, he was united in marriage to Miss Rosella Sullivan of Ossian, deceased.

He is survived by two daughters, Miss Marion Powers and Miss Lorraine Powers.
