MRS. DORF OPPERUD, 77, PASSES AWAY FRIDAY

Mrs. Dorf Opperud, 77, a longtime resident of the Gunder community, passed away Friday evening at the Postville hospital, where she had been taken for treatment the day before. Since leaving the farm, she had been making her home with her daughters in Clermont and at Cedar Falls. More recently she had been living with her daughter, Mrs. Irene Loftsgard, at Clermont.

Funeral services were held Sunday afternoon at the East Clermont Lutheran church and interment was in the cemetery nearby.
