RITES ARE HELD FOR LILLIAN NELSON
Funeral services were held at the West Clermont Lutheran Church, Saturday, April 10, 1971 for Lillian Lorraine Nelson, who died April 7, 1971 at the Postville Community Hospital. The Rev. Clarence Johnson officiated.
Lillian Lorraine Nelson, daughter of Christ and Martha Granlie Nelson, was born May 8, 1923, at Clermont. She was baptized and confirmed in the West Clermont Lutheran Church where she remained a lifetime member.
She attended the Clermont Public schools. She was married to Wm. A. Nelson, October 17, 1950. They had one son, Steven.
Mrs. Nelson is survived by her son, Steven; one brother, Henry of Clermont; four sisters, Anna Mae Nelson and Melvina (Mrs. Fritz Lauer) both of Clermont; Bessie Palas, West Union and Helen, (Mrs. Farrell Bass), Randalia; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, her parents and one sister, Ethel.
Interment was at God's Acre Cemetery near Clermont.
