CLERMONT MAN DIES SUDDENLY

Funeral services were conducted Saturday, August 18, 1973 at 2:00 p.m. from the West Clermont Lutheran Church, Clermont for Leo L. Griebenow, who died suddenly while at work in his store in Clermont August 15, 1973. The Rev. Clarence Johson officiated. Burial was in God's Acre Cemetery.

Leo L. Griebenow, the son of Herman and Mary Briebenow, was born September 5, 1920, near Clermont.

On May 7, 1957 he was united in marriage to Leona Lyngaas at the West Clermont Lutheran Church. He was an active member of the church.

Mr. Griebenow had owned and operated his grocery store in Clermont for the past 16 years. Prior to that time he had operated the Phillips 66 station in Clermont for five years.

He is survived by his wife, their son Leon at home; a sister-in-law, Mrs. Ester Griebenow, a nephew Dennis in Oslo, Norway and a niece Lana of Omaha, Nebraska.

Preceding him in death were his parents, a brother Richard who died in 1968 and a brother Joseph who died in infancy.
