Rites Held For Geneva Wells

Services were held Thursday, November 10, 1977 for Geneva Wells at St. Peter Catholic church, Clermont, Iowa Burial was at St. Peter Cemetery the [paper tore here & can't read it] officiated and the Schutte Funeral Service was in charge of arrangements.

Judith Genevieve (Geneva) Wells, daughter of Joseph and Josephine Mathis Wells, was born June 13, 1894. She passed away November 4, 1977 at her home in Clermont. She had reached the age of 83 years.

She was a nurse for many years for the late Dr. L. L. Carr. Even though she was retired she continued her duties administering to the elderly and shut-ins.

She is preceded in death by her parents, five brothers and two sisters.

She is survived by several nieces and nephews.

Geneva was past president of the Golden Age Club, a member of the American Legion Auxiliary, Business and Professional Womens Club and St. Peter Rosary Guild.
