MRS. HENRY (Ada Chase) SCHUETTE

Mrs. Henry Schuette died July 1, 1958 at the Independence Hospital, at the age of 79 years.

She was born Ada Chase, daughter of Washington I. and Lydia Dresser Chase on October 19, 1878, in Clermont township, Fayette county, Iowa.

On December 17, 1902 Ada Chase was married to Henry Schuette. They celebrated their golden wedding anniversary in Postville on December 17, 1952.

Mrs. Schuette made a home for her aunt, Harriet Bayless for ten years. Her aunt died in 1932.

Mrs. Schuette is survived by her husband, Henry Schuette of West Union and one brother, Fred Chase of Hillsboro, Oregon.

She was a member of the Order of Eastern Star and the Community Presbyterian Church of Postville.

Funeral services were held on Thursday at the Schutte Funeral Home, at 1:30 with the Rev Walter T. Martin in charge of the rites. Burial was in the Postville cemetery.
