The funeral of Chris Rueber was held at Gales Funeral Home in Portland Mopnday, Feb 3, 1936 and internment was at Lincoln Memorial Park. He was born in Iowa Nov 25, 1886 and died Jan 31 at his home in Portalnd. He leaves to mourn his departure his wife, Hulda, and three daughters and two sons. Mr and Mrs Jake Rueber, Mr and Mrs Jack Rueber, Bob Rueber, John Rueber of Stanfield and Will and Henry Linder of Hermiston all attended the funeral. Mr and Mrs Chris Rueber lived on the Stanfield project from 1917 to 1924 and have many friends here.
