WEST UNION - Funeral services for Lillian Kimball will be 2 p.m. Friday, Nov. 28, at Bethel Presbyterian Church in West Union, with burial in the West Union Cemetery. Friends may call after 4 p.m. Thursday at Burnham-Wood Funeral Home, West Union.
Mrs. Kimball, 94, died early Tuesday morning, Nov. 25, 1997, at the Good Samaritan Home in West Union, after a long illness.
She was born July 19, 1903, near Randalia, the daughter of Jacob and Rose Meyer Frieden. She married Harold Kimball on Feb. 19, 1935, in Cedar Rapids. The couple farmed in the West Union area, retiring to town in 1960.
Survivors include one sister, Eva Mae Westcott of Elgin; two sisters-in-law, Irene Frieden of Clermont, and Helen Frieden of West Union and nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Harold in 1961; one sister; and two brothers.
