Doris "Dory" Meyer
WEST UNION - Funeral services for Doris "Dory" Meyer of New Hall, Calif., and formerly of West Union, will be 11 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 8, at the United Methodist Church, West Union. Burial will be in the West Union Cemetery. Friends may call after 4 p.m. Friday at Burnham-Wood Funeral Home, West Union.
Mrs. Meyer, 58, died in her home in California, Saturday, Nov. 1, 1997, after a short illness.
She was born April 18, 1939, in West Union the daughter of Doran and Lois (Hall) Meyer. She graduated from West Union High School. On April 2, 1961, she married Darell Meyer in Madison, Wis.
Survivors include four sons, Chip, Daniel and Doran, all of New Hall, Calif., and Douglas of Grimes; two daughters, Dena Eberhart of West Union, and Deborah Meyer of Chicago; 10 grandchildren; and one sister, Julia Malia of Knoxville, Tenn.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
