WEST UNION - Funeral services for Alma Osmundson will be 1:30 p.m. Monday, Aug. 25, at the First Lutheran Church, rural West Union. Burial will be in the church cemetery. The Burnham-Wood Funeral Home, West Union, was in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Osmundson, 96, died Friday morning, Aug. 22, 1997, at Sartori Memorial Hospital, Cedar Falls, after a long illness.
She was born Oct. 12, 1900, the daughter of Andrew and Julie (Jacobson) Nyborg.
Survivors include one daughter, Phyl (E.J.) Michel of Cedar Falls; three grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Elmer; one daughter, D. JoAnn Wasinger in May 1992; one sister; and three brothers.
