OELWEIN - Funeral services for Cathy Jo Conrade will be 10:30 am. Friday, May 29, at the Jamison-Schmitz Funeral Home, Oelwein, with the Rev. Paul Wigtil officiating. Burial will be in Floral Hills Memorial Gardens, rural Oelwein. Friends may call from 4 until 8 p.m. Thursday and one hour before services Friday at the Jamison-Schmitz Funeral Home.
Mrs. Conrade, 45, died at her home Monday evening, May 25, 1998, of cancer.
She was born Nov. 16, 1952, in Ashland, Ky. the daughter of Harold and Eileen Marshall Davis. She graduated from Riverview High School, Coshocton, Ohio, in 1971. She worked as a housekeeper at the Coshocton Care Center, before marrying and moving to Oelwein. She married Roy Conrade on Oct. 20, 1985, at Loudonville, Ohio.
Survivors include her husband, Roy, of Oelwein; one daughter, Stacey, at home; her mother, Eileen Mullet of Ohio; her grandmother, Ruth Marshall of Ohio; two brothers, Todd and Trevor Davis, both of Florida; special dad and mom, Andy and Shirley Lightfoot; seven special grandchildren; and 15 special great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her father in 1982; a sister at birth; her grandfathers and paternal grandmother, a special grandchild, Melvin Lightfoot,Sr.; and special great-grandson, Melvin Lightfoot,Jr.
