OELWEIN - Memorial services for Anna Mae Leehey, formerly of Fairbank, will be 10 a.m. Friday, May 1, at Woods Funeral Home, Fairbank, with the Rev. Mark McGovern officiating. Burial will be in Immaculate Conception Cemetery, Fairbank.
Mrs. Leehey, 75, died at her home Tuesday morning, Apri1 28, 1998. She was born July 21, 1922, in Oelwein, the daughter of Robert and Sarah Stone Taylor. She married Joe Leehey on Feb. 6, 1940, at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Fairbank. Mrs. Leehey was a homemaker. She had lived in Fairbank until moving to Oelwein two years ago.
Survivors include three sons, Jim (Alice) of Oelwein, Mike (JoAnn) of St. Croix Falls, Wis., and Tim (Julie) of Readlyn; three daughters, Joan (Bob) Hughson of Cedar Rapids, Bonnie (Don) Westendorf of San Diego, Calif., and Pat (Steve) Blasberg of Readlyn; 23 grandchildren; and 34 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Joe, Oct. 5, 1965; two sisters; and seven brothers.
