WESTGATE - Funeral services for Shirley V. Ogle will be 1 p.m. Monday, Nov. 10, at Garden View Chapel, with burial in Garden of Memories Cemetery, both in Waterloo. Friends may call from 4 until 8 p.m. Sunday and afternoon Monday at the funeral chapel.
Mrs. Ogle, 76, died of natural causes Thursday evening, Nov. 6, 1997, at Covenant Medical Center, Waterloo.
She was born May 20, 1921, in Banks Township, the daughter of Edward B. and Hazel Destival Olds. She married Donald Harriman on Oct. 2, 1952, and he preceded her in death. She then married Harold Ogle in 1976. He also preceded her in death. Mrs. Olds was a lifelong homemaker and a member of the Waterloo V.FW. Auxiliary.
Survivors include one son, Lyle Olds of Waterloo; one daughter, LaMilda Kraft of Waterloo; three stepsons, Richard Harriman of Hudson, James Harriman of Marion, and Harold Harriman of Des Moines; 18 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; and 1 great-great-grandson.
She was preceded in death by two brothers, Charles and Frank Olds; one sister, Gladys Drier; and a granddaughter, Tammy Hackbarth.
