FAIRBANK - Funeral services for Daryl Fox of 22514 40th Street rural Fairbank will be 2 p.m. Tuesday, July 22, at Hintz-Geilenfeld Funeral Home, Oelwein, with the Rev. LaVerne Streich officiating. Burial will be in Floral Hills Memorial Gardens, Hazleton.
Friends may call from 5 until 9 p.m. Monday and from 9 a.m. until services on Tuesday. Mr. Fox, 48, died suddenly at his home Saturday, July 19, 1997. He was born Oct. 27, 1948; in Oelwein, the son of Melvin and Mary Ann (Rosenow) Fox. He graduated from Oelwein Community High School in 1967 and from Hawkeye Tech in animal science in 1969. He was a farmer.
Survivors include his father, Melvin of Oelwein; five brothers, Lyle, of Toddville, Paul (Julene), Jim; David (Brenda) and John (DeAnne) all of Oelwein; three sisters, Sharon (Tim) Corkery of Independence, Carol(Francis)Daily of Shepherdsville,Ky., and Diane (Marc) McCormick of
Boyd, Minn.; and a step-grandmother, Ethel Fox of Oelwein. He was preceded in death by his mother, Mary Ann (March 22, 1996); one sister, Karen in infancy; and his grandparents, Paul and Martha Rosenow and Ora and Ruth Fox.
A memorial fund has been established.
