OELWEIN - Funeral services for Lorraine M. Bradley will be 1:30 p.m. Friday, Jan. 30, at Jamison-Schmitz Funeral Home, Oelwein, with the Rev. John Kerr officiating. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery, Oelwein. Friends may call from 6 until 8p.m. Thursday and after 12:30 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
Mrs. Bradley, 77, died Tuesday morning, Jan 27, 1998, at Grandview HealthCare Center, Oelwein, after a lengthy illness.
She was born Feb. 3, 1920, in Westgate, the daughter of Robert R. and Cleo (Wilson) Fox, Sr. She married Glendale Bradley in February 1938 in Oelwein. Mrs. Bradley was a homemaker and longtime Oelwein resident. She had formerly lived in the Westhaven apartments and had been a resident of Grandview HealthCare Center the past five years.
Survivors include her husband, Glendale of Oelwein; one son, Larry (Mary) of Littleton; one daughter, LaVonne (Carl) Hernandez of Oelwein; eight grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; two brothers, Wayne Fox of Waterloo and Robert R. Fox, Jr. of Dubuque; and three sisters, Mary Beaderstadt of Oelwein, Dorothy Gray of Marshalltown, and Alice O'Dell of Maquoketa.
She was preceded in death by her parents; one grandson; one sister; and two brothers.
