HOLD FUNERAL RITES FOR MRS. ROBINSON

Funeral services for Mrs. Will Robinson, 75, of Spokane WA were held last Thursday afternoon at 1:45 O'clock from the Schultz Funeral home to the Methodist church [Monona, IA]at 2 o'clock with Rev. E. Wayne Hilmer officiating.

Burial was in Council Hill Cemetery.

Mrs. Robinson died Thursday, March 18, at the Manson Rest home in Spokane WA, having been in ill health for the last 10 months.

As Maryette, she was born the daughter of Daniel and Carrie Richmond Robinson of Hawkeye, June 30 1878. She was married to Will Robinson in 30 June 1896. They lived in the vicinity of Pleasant Ridge until the death of her husband in 1940. Since that time, she had been making her home with her children.

At the time of her death, she was a member of the Open Bible church in Spokane, WA.

She was preceded in death by her husband, two sons, one sister, and one brother.

Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. William (Blanche) Moses of Monona and Mrs. Marvin (Jessie Biesterfeld of Spokane, WA; five sons, Perry of Wheaton, IL, Roy of Ontarioville IL, Irvin of Elgin, IL, Charles of
Chicago, IL, and Gilbert of McGregor; two sisters, Mrs Lew (Nettie) Weise and Mrs. Alice Pittenger, both of LaCrosse WI; four brothers, Frank of Waterloo, Fred of Portage WI, William of Burnett MN, and Jake of Spokane WA, 24 grandchildren, and 22 great-grandchildren.

Music was provided by Mrs. George Martin and Mrs. Ben Frese jr.. Mrs. Ivon J. Schultz was the organist.

Pallbearers were Arthur Adney, Henry Erbe, Charles Denning, Homer Foster, Warren Foster, and John Knapp, sr.
