OBITUARY
GARDNER---Died, at the residence of J. W. Callender, in Stockton on November 13th. Mrs Nancy Gardner, aged 63 years, 6 months and 31 days.
Mrs Gardner was born Apr. 4th 1815. She was married in 1833, at Howard, Center Co., Pa. to Samuel Gardner. They remained in Center county till about the year 1854 when they moved to Fayette county, Iowa. Her Husband Died Dec. 6th 1868, and was buried in the Boals Cemetery near West Union, Iowa, to which place her remains were taken and she will be buried by her Husband. Mrs. Gardner was a member of the M.E. church. She has been living with her daughter, Mrs. J. W. Callender for the last five years. Mrs Callender accompanied the remains to Iowa.

The body of Mrs. Gardner arrived at Dr. Fullers yesterday from Stockton, Kansas where she died. The funeral will be held at the residence of Dr. Fuller today at 1 o'clock, preliminary to the burial at Auburn. Mrs. Gardner was the mother of J.W. at Rock Rapids, Jo, of this city and Mrs. Callander, of Stockton, who accompanies the remains. She was also a sister of Mrs. Dr. Fuller.
NOTE: I believe the Gardner at Rock Rapids is W.W. instead of J.W.

Mrs. Dr. Fuller was Jemima Elizabeth Tipton. Daughter of William and Elizabeth (Shade) Tipton.
