Leslie, Joseph R., farmer, Section 10; PO Waucoma; born in Ohio in 1853. Married Nancy E. Douglass in 1875; she was born in Indiana in 1853; have one child -- Daisy E. He came to this county in 1854 with his father, Daniel Leslie, who was one of the early settlers in this town; resided at home until 1875, when he settled on his present estate; has farm of eighty acres, valued at $30 per acre and has an interest in the homestead. Are members of the United Brethren Church.
