Frank King, 63, Retired Farmer Dies
Frank King, 63-year-old retired farmer, died suddenly at 12:20 a.m. today at the home of his brother, Joe King. He died of a heart attack.

Mr. King was born in April, 1889, in Loda, Ill., and was reared there. He married Goldie Frey of Dixon, Ill., and the couple farmed in Illinois. Mr. King has been living in Emmet county since 1916 and with his brother, Joe, for the past four or five years.

Besides farming, Mr. King also operated the Little Diner café in Estherville for a number of years.

He is survived by two sons, Francis serving with the armed forces in Korea, and Robert of Dixon, Ill.; six brothers, Joe King of Estherville, Charles of Missouri Valley, Wilbur of Buckley, Ill., Arthur of Paxton, Ill., Harry of Hammond, Ind., and Bennie of Chicago; one sister, Mrs. Minter (Bessie) Sims of Hanna, Ind.; his former wife; and several nephews and nieces.

Funeral arrangements are awaiting the arrival of Robert King of Dixon. (Estherville Daily News, Estherville, IA, January 22, 1952)
