L. W. IRWIN, 81, DIES

L. W. Irwin, 81, a pioneer resident of Emmet county, died Sunday, January 12, 1947 in San Diego, Calif., from a heart attack. Mr. Irwin left here 40 years ago after farming in Center township. The body is being brought to Estherville for burial and services will be held Sunday at the Mahlum and Sandin chapel, but all arrangements are not definite. Survivors in Estherville include a sister, Mrs. Roy Burt; and two brothers, P. C. Irwin and J. A. Irwin. Mr. and Mrs. J. A. Irwin are visiting in the West at the present time.. Also surviving are a son, five grandchildren and four great grandchildren.

Irwin Rites Sunday

Funeral services for L. W. Irwin who died Sunday in San Diego, Calif., will be held Sunday at 2 p.m. in the Mahlum and Sandin chapel, Rev. C. J. Semans officiating. Burial will be in East Side cemetery.
