Longtime Resident of City Dies; Rites To Be Friday
Charlotte (Lottie) Cole, 82, longtime resident of the Estherville area, died at 5 p.m. yesterday at the Balmer Rest Home. She had been an invalid for 17 years and a patient at the rest home for a number of years. She had kept house for her brother, Ed, until his death in 1950.

Miss Cole was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers, Ed and Ross Cole and is survived by two sisters, Mrs. Oliver Platt, Stanley, N.D. , and Mrs. Marjorie Barber, of Atascodero, Calif.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday at Sternborg-Reese Funeral Home chapel. (Estherville Daily News, Estherville, IA, Jan. 13, 1960)
