Mrs. Tom Triggs
Mrs. Tom Triggs, 50, passed away at 4:30 yesterday morning at her home. She has been in failing health since last winter.Hazel Louise Walbridge was born November 22, 1892 at Milford, Iowa. She was married Sept. 11, 1916 to Tom Triggs of Estherville. They have lived in Estherville since 1917.
She was a member of the Royal Neighbor lodge and Service Star Legion and of the Methodist church.
Mrs. Triggs was a very kind and considerate woman, wholy devoted to her home, her husband and her parents. Death of two children in infancy was a loss which she never ceased to mourn. Her friends whom she was ever ready to help will miss her sorely.
Surviving here are her husband; her mother, Mrs. E.E. Cooper; a brother, Harry Cooper of LaCrosse, Wis., and a sister, Mrs. Georgia Winter of Jackson, Minn.
Funeral services will be held Friday at 3 o’clock at the home and at 3:30 at the Methodist church with the Rev. F.W. Ortmeyer officiating. (Vindicator and Republican, Estherville, IA, July 15, 1943)
