Mrs. Weber, 74, Dies Following Long Illness
Funeral Arrangements Not Yet Completed
Mrs. Anna Swatsley Weber died this morning at the Steinman nursing home in Estherville following a long illness. She had been in bed for seven months and been in poor health for several years. She would have been 74 years old next month.Mrs. Weber was born in Woodford county, Illinois, where she attended school. She was married to Phil Weber in Illinois and they moved to Terril where they lived for 13 years on a farm. For the past nine years Mrs. Weber has lived with her daughter, Mrs. Clarence Ingvall, near Estherville.
Because of her poor health in recent years she was unable to be active in any community organizations or lodges but she was formerly a member of the Methodist church.
She is survived by Mrs. Ingvall and a son, Eldon Weber, of Estherville, and two other daughters, Mrs. Joe Full of Normal, Ill. and Mrs. Inez Gauther of Rockford, Ill. A son, Ernest Weber, also lives in Rockford and another son, Berlin Weber, lives in Chicago. Two sisters of Mrs. Weber live in Illinois and a brother in Wisconsin. Mrs. Full arrived this morning to be here for the funeral.
Arrangements for the funeral services are not yet complete but the family believes that they will be held in the Mahlum and Anderson chapel with the Rev. Fred W. Ortmeyer conducting. (Estherville Daily News, Estherville, IA, January 5, 1943)

Funeral services for Mrs. Anna Weber who died Tuesday morning will be conducted by the Rev. Fred W. Ortmeyer at 2 p.m. Friday at the Mahlum and Anderson chapel.Mrs. Weber was the mother of Mrs. Clarence Ingvall of near Estherville and Eldon Weber of Estherville. Another daughter, Mrs. Joe Full of Normal, Ill., arrived yesterday. Her other children, Mrs. Inez Gunther and Ernest Weber of Rockford, Ill. and Berlin Weber of Chicago, Ill., also will be here for the funeral.
