Fred Case
Canon City, Colo. – Fred O. Case, 83, of Canon City, died in Colorado Springs August 28, 1992. Services were held August 31 at Holt Family Chapel at the Garden with Pastor Jim McKean officiating. Interment was in Lakeside Cemetery.

He was born Jan. 28, 1909 at Estherville, the son of William and Mary (Verink) Case. He moved to Colorado in 1928 from Iowa and lived in Canon City since 1962. He married Vera Halter at Johnson, Kansas in 1936. She preceded him in death in 1989. In June, 1990 he married Luella Robinson Evans Case.

Survivors include his wife, Luella; a son, William Case, Salt Lake City, Utah; three stepchildren; two sisters: Mrs. Joe (Henrietta) Hoovel, Jackson, Minn., and Maye Case, Estherville.

He was preceded in death by his wife Vera; parents; five brothers and a sister. (Estherville Daily News, Estherville, IA, September 10, 1992)
