Mr. and Mrs. Frank Hartman and Mr. and Mrs. Don Spaulding attended the Oscar Miller funeral Sunday at Armstrong.

Oscar Miller died at his home near Armstrong Friday. He had undergone a siege of measles and complications set in which caused his death. Mr. Miller leaves to mourn his loss a wife [Hannah Hazel Beattie] and son. Mr. Miller was well and favorably known in this neighborhood having working here for a number of years, working for Ben Spaulding the past year. The sympathy of their friends here is extended the sorrowing wife and son. (Estherville Enterprise, Estherville, IA, May 12, 1920)
