Former Resident Dies in Washington
Mrs. Joseph Pullen,a former resident of Estherville, who is survived by relatives here, died Nov. 7 in Nashes [Naches], Wash., at the age of 65 years, seven months and twenty-seven days. She is mourned by three sisters, Mrs. L.A. Rhodes and Mrs. Ike Ragan [Rogergs] of Estherille and Mrs. Sarah Mattres [Mattson] of Redland, Cal., and two brothers, J.K. [I.K.] Hawk of Idaho and Charles Hawk of Estherville.

She is also survived by three children, Mrs. Winifred Packard of Stites, Idaho, Richard Pullen of Meridan, Idaho, and Mrs. Lennis Hagerman of Nashes, Wash. Jane Hawk was born in Decorah, coming to Estherville [remainder too dark to read.] (Estherville News, Estherville, IA, December 13, 1928)
