Armstrong – Services for Helma Larsen, 83, Armstrong, will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 5, at the Nazareth Lutheran Church in Armstrong with the Rev. Donohue Sarff officiating. Burial will be in Armstrong Grove Cemetery, Armstrong. She died Saturday, Feb. 1, 1986 at Valley Vue Nursing Home, Armstrong.

Friends may call after 3 p.m. Tuesday at the Henry-Olson-Fuhrman Funeral Home, Armstrong.

She was born Sept. 15, 1902 near Seneca to Hans and Anne (Wollen) Wilberg and attended Seneca schools. On Feb. 11, 1925 she was united in marriage with Ruben Larsen in Seneca. She lived and farmed most of her life in the Ringsted and Armstrong area and was a member of the Nazareth Lutheran Church, Armstrong.

Survivors include one daughter, Mrs. Dale (Marilyn) Daniels, Eagle Grove; and a son Roger L. Larsen and Joan, Armstrong; eight grandchildren, one great grandchild; a brother, Henry Wilberg, Fenton; and a sister, Mrs. Harry (Mildred) Bonnicksen, Armstrong.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Ruben, Sept. 19, 1984; two sons, Rollen and Clifford; parents, one brother and three sisters. (Estherville Daily News, Estherville, IA, February 3, 1986)
