Armstrong – Services for F. [Frank] Ray Kinnander, 84, will be held Thursday at 10:30 a.m. at First Presbyterian Church with Dr. Earl H. Estill officiating. Interment will be in Armstrong Grove Cemetery. He died Monday, March 21, 1988 at Fairmont Community Hospital, Fairmont, Minn.

Friends may call at Henry-Olson-Fuhrman Funeral Home in Armstrong from 4-9 p.m. Wednesday.

He was born Aug. 8, 1903 at Marseilles, Ill., the son of Ben and Anna (Olson) Kinnander, and attended Marseilles and East Moline, Ill. schools. He moved with his family to the Armstrong area in 1915. On June 11, 1932 he was united in marriage with Verval Heck at Ceylon, Minn. The couple farmed in the Ringsted-Armstrong area until he retired in 1969.

Survivors include his wife Verval, rural Armstrong; two sons: Don and wife Mary, Minneapolis and Lanny and wife Louise, Franktown, Colo.; five grandchildren and one sister, Mrs. Carrye Vigdal, Armstrong.

He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother. (Estherville Daily News, Estherville, IA, March 23, 1988)
