Dolliver – Services for Mrs. Evelyn Kinnander, 85, of Dolliver will be held Saturday at 11 a.m. at Calvary Gospel Assembly in Estherville with Pastor Ernest Gafkjen officiating. Interment will be in Armstrong Grove Cemetery. She died Tuesday Nov. 23, 1993 at Holy Family Hospital. Henry-Olson-Fuhrman Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

She was born Jan. 26, 1908 at Jewell, the daughter of Soren and Paulina (Beishiem) Larson and attended rural schools near Jewell and Ceylon, Minn. in Lake Belt Township of Martin County, where they moved to in 1917. On Jan. 22, 1935 she married John Kinnander at Ceylon. The couple farmed near Dolliver. She was a member of Calvary Gospel Assembly in Estherville and a member of the Women’s Mission Circle.

She is survived by four sisters-in-law: Roslind Marquart, Windom, Minn.; Esther Larson, Welcome, Minn.; Doris Larson, Green Bay, Wis., and Verval Kinnander of Armstrong; several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband in 1980; parents; seven brothers and one sister. (Estherville Daily News, Estherville, IA, November 27, 1993)
