Anna Kinnander Dies; Rites Set
Armstrong – Mrs. Anna Kinnander, 89, Armstrong, died this morning at Holy Family Hospital at 4:30 from a fractured hip. She had been hospitalized for five months.

Funeral services are tentatively planned for 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at the United Methodist Church. Burial will be in the Armstrong Grove Cemetery. Rev. Travis Cannaday will officiate.

Survivors include two sons, John and Ray, Armstrong; and one daughter, Mrs. Carrie Vigdal, Armstrong.

Friends may call at the Reese-Henry-Slaba Chapel at Armstrong from noon Tuesday until time of services on Wednesday. (Estherville Daily News, Estherville, IA, April 6, 1970)

Woman Dies
Armstrong – Funeral services for Mrs. Anna Kinnander, 89, Armstrong, who died Monday morning at Holy Family Hospital, will be held Wednesday morning at 10:30 at the United Methodist Church in Armstrong with Rev. Travis Cannaday officiating. Burial will be in Armstrong Cemetery.

She was born Nov. 7, 1880, in Sweden to Mr. and Mrs. John Olson. She came to the U.S. with her parents when she was 11 years old to Marseilles, Ill. She has lived in the Armstrong area since 1915.

Survivors include two sons, John and Ray, Armstrong; one daughter, Mrs. Carrie Vigdal, Armstrong; three grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Friends may call at the Reese-Henry-Slaba Funeral Home anytime after 1 p.m. today. (Estherville Daily News, Estherville, IA, April 7, 1970)
