Henry Kinnander Funeral Set
Henry Kinnander, 77, Armstrong, died yesterday afternoon at Holy Family Hospital.

The funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at the Nazareth Lutheran Church at Armstrong. Burial will be at the Armstrong Grove Cemetery. Reese-Henry Funeral Home, Armstrong, is in charge. (Estherville Daily News, Estherville, IA, December 1, 1970)

Henry Kinnander Rites Thursday
Henry Kinnander, 77, Armstrong, died at 3:15 p.m. Nov. 30, at Holy Family Hospital after being ill for 3 ½ weeks. He was born Aug. 12, 1893, at Marseilles, Ill., to Mr. and Mrs. Herman Kinnander. He attended Marseilles schools, and attended business school in Ottawa, Ill.

On June 18, 1934, he married Rose Laffey at Gary, Ind.

He moved to a farm north of Armstrong in 1913 where he farmed until he retired to Armstrong in 1962. He was a member of the Nazareth Lutheran Church of Armstrong.

Survivors include his wife, Rose; two sons, Thomas and Harlan, Armstrong; seven grandchildren; one brother, Clarence, Dolliver; seven sisters, Mrs. W.B. (Lena) Mitchell, Armstrong, Mrs. Alvin (Mabel) Smith, Gary, Ind., Mrs. Gladys Axell, Lowell, Ind., Mrs. Byrdie Turchi, Merrit Island, Fla., Mrs. Addis (Evelyn) Johnston, Merrit Island, Fla., and Mrs. Frank (Lorene) Stevens, Cedar Lake, Ind.

Services will be Thursday at 2 p.m. at the Nazareth Lutheran Church of Armstrong, with the Rev. Donahue Sarff officiating. Burial will be in the Armstrong Grove Cemetery.

Friends may call at the Reese-Henry Funeral Home at Armstrong until noon Thursday, when the casket will be taken to the church. (Estherville Daily News, Estherville, IA, December 2, 1970)
