Ringsted – Services for Agnes Wilson, 75, of Ringsted, will be held Friday at 10:30 a.m. at First Presbyterian Church at Ringsted with the Rev. John Werth and the Rev. Amanda Werth officiating. Interment will be in Armstrong Grove Cemetery at Armstrong. She died Monday, Feb. 14, 1994 at McKennan Hospital at Sioux Falls, S.D.

Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. Thursday at Henry-Olson-Fuhrman Funeral Home in Ringsted.

She was born Oct. 10, 1918 at Armstrong, the daughter of Richard and Johanna (Beck) Metz. She attended Ringsted School graduating from high school in 1936. On Aug. 17, 1937 she was united in marriage with Ralph Wilson at Cylinder. The couple lived in the Ringsted and Graettinger area. She was a member of First Presbyterian Church in Ringsted and the UPW.

Survivors include her husband, Ralph of Ringsted; sons: Grant of Canton, S.D., Ron and Darwin of Ringsted; nine grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; sisters, Mary Long of Estherville and Mrs. Francis (Edna) Foth of Bancroft and a brother, Robert Metz of Studio City, Calif.

She was preceded in death by two daughters, one son, her parents and one brother. (Estherville Daily News, Estherville, IA, February 16, 1994)
