Robert Whitlow
Armstrong – Robert Whitlow, 53, Sioux City and formerly of Armstrong, died Wednesday [April 22, 1981] at St. Luke’s Hospital in Sioux City.

Services for Mr. Whitlow were held Saturday at the First Methodist Church, Armstrong, with the Rev. William Olstad officiating. Interment was in Armstrong Grove Cemetery.

Henry and Olson Funeral Home, Armstrong, was in charge of arrangements.

The son of Archie and Caroline Whitlow, he was born Aug. 18, 1927, at Swea City and received his education in the Armstrong schools.

He lived at Armstrong until moving to Sioux City eight years ago, where he was employed by Goodwill Industries.

Mr. Whitlow is survived by his mother, Mrs. Caroline Whitlow, Armstrong; one brother, Bill Whitlow, Iowa City; three sisters, Mrs. Don (Rose Ellen) Coyle, Minneapolis, Minn., Mrs. Cathryn Seeger, State Center, and Mrs. Don (Carol) Boyle, Sioux City.
