Jackson, Minn. – Services for Robert W. Glenn, 60, Jackson, Minn., will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Salem Lutheran Church in Jackson, with Rev. Richard A. Mickelson officiating. Interment will be in the East Side Cemetery, Estherville. He died Sunday, April 10, 1983 at the Worthington Regional Hospital, Worthington, Minn.

Friends may call at the Sathe and Son Funeral Home in Jackson after 7 p.m. Tuesday and from 9-12 a.m. Wednesday; and at the church prior to services.

Glenn was born Feb. 20, 1923, in Minneota Township, Jackson County, Minn. He attended schools in Minneota Township and Jackson. He served with the Navy in World War Two. On Sept. 2, 1946 he was united in marriage to Geraldine Reetz at Jackson. In 1946 the couple moved to Washington, later to Estherville where they lived until 1976 when they moved to Lincoln, Neb. In 980 they moved back to Jackson. He was employed as a truck driver. Glenn was a member of the Salem Lutheran Church and John W. Brawford Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 3388 of Estherville.

Survivors include his wife, Geraldine; two sons: Craig, Jackson and Larry (Scott) of Spink Township, Union County, S.D.; four daughters: Mrs. Mark (Rebecca) Benjamin, Camp Pendleton, Calif., Mrs. Mark (Patricia) Updike, Holly and Ginger Glenn, Jackson; his mother, Mabel Benjamin; 11 grandchildren; one brother, Donald, Armstrong; five sisters: Mrs. Harold (Yvonne) Gillson, Winlock, Wash., Mrs. George (Edna) Spangler, Vader, Wash., Betty Spangler, Lakefield, Minn., Ruth Soukup, Jackson and Mrs. Robert (Orie) Long, Castle Rock, Wash.
